Apple Unveils New Products – But Is There More?

There’s always an ever-present mystery surrounding Apple, especially when it comes to new product releases. The fact is, Apple have seemingly done all of their announcements for the year! However, with rumours to uncover updates to the new iPad Pro and information teasers for the new Macs there is a lingering sense in the tech world that Apple may just surprise us yet. This includes the iMac, McBook and even the Macbook Air and Macbook Mini.

As the rumours grow the hypothesis for what is coming next start to accumulate. No stone is left unturned and we have investigated to bring you the most likely predictions for 2018 and expectations are high to say the least – Something we have all become accustomed to as Apple fan favourites.

iPads

A whole transformation could be coming to iPads, introducing the look, style and functionality of the iPhone X. This includes Face ID and could even include smaller bezels providing a phone structure for a bigger screen (maybe even 11 inches) whilst the opposite could be seen from the iPad Pro reducing in size from the current 12.9 inch screen for a more lightweight model, this is an unexpected move as the trend so far has produced larger screens for each new update.

Other updates could include hardware updates including the addition of the A11X Bionic processor which could be included in a new iPad Models.

The iPad Mini – A Miniature Failure?

The sad truth is, judging from Apples shift in focus away from the smaller tablets that bigger screens will be the main focus, leaving the iPad Minis at the way side.

Another indication of the shift in the spotlight is the fact that bigger screens have dominated the phone market too, the most popular tablet size is now 9.7 inch.

Macs

There is combination of happenings when we start to consider Macs. Whilst sales continue to fall the presence and preference in the computer world is growing. This shows that there is a demand, and a particular market that benefits from Macs that will continue the legacy to grow – This is in spite of the continued fall in sales in the previous years.

MacBook Air

The black sheep in certain ways, has been the most likely candidate for discontinuation. However, there is a twist to the story and there may now be even more accessible models available due to new devices with a lower price tag.

A new lightweight model would make Macbook Airs more accessible and attractive in price and design.
